If you don't already have a pendulum take a look at our great range here. GUIDE TO USING A PENDULUM
To use your pendulum, you should hold the chain between your thumb and forefinger, with your elbow resting on a table, chair arm or knee. This allows the pendulum to dangle freely.
There are four (4) basic movements for the pendulum.
These are:
1. CLOCK-WISE CIRCLE
2. COUNTER CLOCK-WISE CIRCLE
3. BACK and FOURTH
4. LEFT to RIGHT
You could specify a movement for each answer, however, the best results are obtained when you let your subconscious mind make this decision. Besides, this lets you know that your subconscious mind does make decisions. When establishing the basic movements, it is not necessary to speak out loud, you only need to think the question. Your subconscious can be asked to make its own selection of movements.
Begin by asking your pendulum to "SHOW ME THE RESPONSE FOR":
a) "YES"
b) "NO"
c) "I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE QUESTION"
d) "I DON'T HAVE THE ANSWER AT THIS TIME"
The pendulum usually starts to move in a short time, but for some it may take a little longer. Be patient. Don't move the pendulum consciously. This isn't necessary as you will soon discover that it moves quite well of its own accord. Many people are surprised to find how easy it is to communicate with the "INNER SELF". This isn't supernatural, but merely demonstrates and reminds you that the subconscious decides what to do (when it knows what is in your best interest at the present time).
Once you've established the 4 responses (always a good idea to check these each time you come to use your pendulum again). When asking questions of your inner mind you need to ask a simple & concise question with a YES/NO answer, you should not consciously think of what the answer will be. Even if you do, you will sometimes be surprised and your belief strengthened when you find the pendulum saying NO to a questions you thought was YES and later you are able to verify that the pendulum was correct.
If you get the response "I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE QUESTION", think to yourself, is there any part of my question open to misinterpretation(too simple, needs more detail)? Rephrase your question and ask again. "I DON'T HAVE THE ANSWER AT THIS TIME", this is a tough response, but some times in life you've just got to be patient!
Once you are comfortable asking your pendulum questions in this way you can use dowsing charts to assist in getting your answers.
Happy dowsing!
